I was tired of keeping a machine running around the clock just so an agent could work without interruption. Step away from the desk and everything stalls.
Trying it on a phone was worse: SSH drops mid-task, tmux won't let you swipe, lock the screen and the session dies. Typing commands on a mobile keyboard is punishment.
Claude Code on the web means pushing everything to GitHub, where every little thing becomes a commit. I just wanted to try an idea, not write it into the repo’s history.
I wanted something else: keep the full power of the Claude Code CLI (Skills, MCP, tool use, working directly on files) but run it continuously server-side and open it from any browser. Message the agent, go grab lunch, come back and it's all still there, still running. Pick up your phone and keep going, no wrestling with SSH and a CLI on a tiny screen.
